History of Bluebell, Utah

Bluebell (Duchesne) is a small agricultural community on U-199 and the benchland, four miles north of Big Sand Wash Reservoir. Heber Powell suggested that the town be named after the bluebells that grew on the bench land each spring. A post office was assigned to Bluebell on Novermber 4, 1911.
