TINTIC Tintic (Juab) was a small community settled in 1903. It is now a highway junction for U-36 and US-6 west of Mona. Tintic (Tintick) was a renegade Indian chief who, with his small local band of Goshute Indians, claimed the country on the west side of Utah Lake in Cedar, Tintic and Skull Valleys. John W.
