SILVER CITY Silver City (Juab) is an old mining ghost town site, five miles south of Eureka and east of US-6, 50. Silver City was originally settled in 1870, peaked in 1908, and was deserted by the early 1930s. Vast amounts of silver were extracted from the mines in this area. John W. Van Cott |
