History of Oak City,Utah

OAK CITY

Oak City is on U-125 ten niles east of Delta. It was first known as Oak Creek for the creek next to the site where the early residents settled. The area was used as an early grazing range by herders from nearby Deseret. The town was later settled by these herders and their families.
