NEOLA

Neola (Duchesne) is a small community in an area of gas and oil developement on U-121, ten miles north northwest of Roosevelt and six miles south of Whiterocks. There are several claims for the name origin: it is of Greek origin and means "new place": it is an Indian word for "last stand"; and it means "this is the last move" or "move no more."
