LAMPO

Lampo (Box Elder) today a ghost town, was once a railroad construction camp. It is near Lampo Junction on Highway 83. The Golden Spike National Historic Site is ca. 8 miles west. Other names are, Kolmar, (Colmer) named after a railroad official, and Junction City.
