History of Jericho, Utah

Jericho (Juab) was an early sheep shearing corral, midway between Eureka and Lynndyl, on the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad. Later, it was a U.S. Civilian Conservation Corps camp. The name came from the sandy, isolated, and desolate surroundings.
