History of Harper, Utah
Courtesy of OnlineUtah.us. (Links Added)
Harper (Duchesne) was once a stage coach stop between Fort Duchense in Uintah County and Price in Carbon County. At that time it was also a sheep ranch. Today, the few remaining buildings are bent with age. The ghost town is located in Ninemilecanyon where the ancient Fremont Indians left petroglyphs and Pictographs on the canyon walls.
