GREENDALE

Greendale (Daggett) was a small settlement of the 1880s where William R. Green and his sons Bill, Sanford, John and their families lived. The settlement was centered on a fork of Skull Creek near the present-day Greens Lakes, where ranches, a school and a post office developed. Today this alpine area is composed of campgrounds, summer homes, and a ranch or two.
